Introduction:
Rivet Operations Company has an opening for a Logistics Specialist to join our rapidly growing team in the Colorado Springs, CO area. This position will provide support for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence, and Space and Missile Defense School. The objective of this effort is to ensure superior education and training on all elements of space and missile defense and real-world operational requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform integrated logistics support for the organization by preforming logistics support analyses, level of repair analyses, integrated logistic support planning, logistic site support surveys, coordinating property transfer within the organization and with other outside agencies.
• Review, interpret, analyze, verify and consolidate data that is generated and or received.
• Conduct independent research and analyze records results.
• Prepare reports and read-ahead data packages for the project lead and Contracting Officer Representative.
• Interpret logistics and readiness regulations, policies, and business rules.
• Collaborate with test engineers, systems analysts, training specialists, logisticians and other government representatives.
• Design and prepare reports. Develop recommendations and provide consistent feedback to stakeholders.
• Resolve complex issues, provide updates to organization leadership concerning critical logistics and readiness issues.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or other applicable discipline preferred.
• Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.
• 12+ years of demonstrated relevant experience required.
• Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact efficiently with Military Personnel and Civilians
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications
• Basic mathematical skills (e.g. ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide.)
• Typing skills (ability to type 45 words per minute)
• Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time.
• Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances.
• Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all staff.
• Logistics Specialists shall be required to operate non-tactical vehicles, and must maintain a valid state driver’s license. Drivers are required to complete Army accident-avoidance training as required, provided by a designated Government representative.
Security:
Requires the applicant to possess the security clearance required for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
