Introduction:

Rivet is excited to share a unique leadership opportunity on our growing Army team to support the Space and Missile Defense School.

 

Duties:

• Facilitate the Army Space Senior Leader Course (SSLC) to educate senior space officers, senior NCOs, and senior civilians, on Space policy and strategy linkages to decision making across Army, joint, and National level agencies.
• Provide and share recent Army and joint experience, at the highest senior level ranks (GO/FO) on current DoD, service, and Army Priorities; USASMDC Mission and Priorities; Army Support to Unified Land Operations; and implications for Army Space forces.

• Facilitate education based on a strong understanding of and experience with Army interests and equities in DoD, service, and joint Space initiatives related to Space policy and strategy.
• Facilitate education and discussion on Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) Implications to Army Space forces; Army leadership and mentorship; ethics and the Army Profession and Army Leader Development Strategies (ALDS); Space Acquisition processes, Planning, Programming, Budgeting,

and Execution (PPBE) and JCIDS.
• Support initiatives of the Senior Program Manager, Task Order Lead, and company.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Experience:
• A retired General Officer or equivalent expert whose knowledge and experience supports the Army Space Senior Leader Course
• Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to initiate plans, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook).

Education or Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree, MS or PhD preferred

 

Security:
Requires the applicant to possess and maintain the security clearance requirement for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60.00 - USD $110.00 /Hr.
