This leadership opportunity on our growing Army team supports the Space and Missile Defense School in Colorado Springs. Under the direction of Rivet’s Program Manager at the corporate level, the Task Order Lead is Rivet’s lead onsite.
Duties:
• Be the customer’s primary point of contact for contract management at the Task Order (TO) level onsite in Colorado Springs. Provide overall contractor management of the TO, including personnel, planning, quality control, direction, coordination, and reviews necessary to ensure effective contract performance.
• Prepare financial reports to show monthly budgets, expenditures, invoices, and forecast estimates at completion.
• Prepare and implement Quality Control Plans. Prepare the monthly status report, assess performance, and continuously provide feedback to improve performance. Empower and assess performance improvements.
• Prepare the Semi-Annual Technical report.
• Support program meetings and briefings.
• Maintain the Contractor Personnel Roster.
• Facilitate and ensure compliance with Security, Mandatory Contractor Training, Travel and all other contract requirements.
• Be customer-service oriented, proactive, responsive, and effective in handling communications and issues. Lead in-process reviews with customers.
• Provide vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of all team efforts, including subcontractors.
• Empower task leads, and every individual to succeed in achieving exceptional customer outcomes.
• Support the synergy of contractor personnel at different levels of the organization.
• As a Rivet supervisor, empower your managers and their direct reports not only to be successful, but also to set the standard for professional excellence for our subcontractor partners and our competitors.
• Coordinate with the Rivet Program Manager for business functional support, i.e. HR, Contracts, IT, Accounting, and the Program Management Office.
Qualifications:
• 10 years of management experience of increasing responsibility in personnel management and project complexity.
• Successful experience in the direct supervision of professionals in a DoD schoolhouse environment.
• Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to initiate plans, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook).
Education or Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• PMI Project Management Professional certification or DAWIA Program Management Level III preferred
Security:
Requires the applicant to pass the security clearance requirement for the position. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
